I bought this on Saturday afternoon on Etsy, from an Australian seller, Karen Richards. Imagine my surprise to receive it in the post today already, all the way from the other side of the world!
At the time, I bought it because I thought it was funny (and also awesome) but it’s turned out to be quite a fitting piece of advice this week. Work has been especially wearing with the harsh reality of now being in charge of stuff hitting home as I had my first run-in with former-colleague-turned-dickwad. Sadly, I also had my second, third, fourth and fifth run-in, all in the space of 24 hours, so it’s been rather a fraught few days.
I’d planned to come back with a series of posts about our American adventure but seem to have been sidetracked with all that’s going on just now. I’m moving out of my little studio, back to our littler spare room (that there will be a blog post about soon), making big business decisions and trying to organise to get rid of about 80% of my crafty possessions. If you want to help with that, come to my yard sale on Saturday – details here.
For now though, I’m going to frame up my swanky hanky with the good advice and prop it up somewhere prominent.
